Femal mage summoning a demonic dragon from Mist and Darkness to wreak havoc on someone.



Done with Chinese inks. Ended up with a very vague caligraphy-esque feel so I used my chop (the red thing). It should be a phoneticism of my first name meaning ';pure as snow'. I think, I've long since lost the bit of paper with the explanation.

I always try to make my drawings different in some small way (or big, it depends).

I find that I get into a sort of "rut" sometimes when I'm doing something like Dragons - they tend to be very much the same. I keep studying other dragons to get ideas on how to change mine, but it's tricky!

It's good that you're looking at other peoples works. That can be very useful for inspiration or looking for new techniques.

I want to compliment you on the detail and shading. The wings are amazing! I like the summoner too, very expressive.

Chinese inks and a fine brush are great for detail. Their effect is also a bit different from normal too.
