This is the result of playing lots of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. It's a nice little crossover with Pokemon; another game where you track down rare beasts to either slay or capture them.

Pikachu is taking the place of the Felyne companion. Hence the barrel bomb, acorn armour and odd anatomy for a Pikachu. The armour is wrong but it was done entirely from memory. Hunter Ash stands his ground as a rabid Articuno descends from the skies. If he's not experienced enough he will become dinner very quickly.

What do you guys think. I was trying a few new things with the colouring. I'm very pleased with the mountains in the background- snow capped peaks and blizzards are nor something I'm accustomed to.

The mountains in the background just looks amazing and the near-blizzard too !

The mountains are fantastic :D I like the colouring, although personally I would blend it some more, particularly in the foreground but that's just me. It works the way you have it too. Just two comments I have, Pikachu's body doesn't quite seem to match up with his legs on the left hand side, and Ash's left leg in particular doesn't quite appear to be touching the snow. Again, personally I might dull down the colours on Pikachu a little, just because he is much brighter than the rest of the picture and in the foreground. I really like it though, and once again, fantastic mountains and I love the snow :) Also, as FloatingUkuku said, the barrel is really nice too. Well done.

I see what you mean buy Pikachu's leg and Ash's foot. I kept the brighter colours on the Pikachu to make sure he stayed in the fore-ground. Also I was trying to get a more 'textured' feel to the shading, might have been better off using a different program in hindsight.

The mountains look so real o.o They're amazing! The rest of the picture is really great too, of course :lmao: It might sound a bit weird but I also like the barrel a lot, the wood looks really nice!

Well I'm glad the barrel turned out okay, for a while it was looking kind of meh.
