Last of Your Kind II

I was flicking through my art folder recently and came to this picture

I always really like the original and thought it'd be nice to give it some colour. I feel that purples and oranges together are archetypical fantasy colours and I wanted the pic to have a good solid fantasy colour pallet. Plus I like purple.

This was done in Deep Paint using three layers. DP works far better with fewer layers. I fixed up the background from the original and added even more plant life. At least this time the dragon doesn't blend into the shrubbery quite so much. I like this one as much as the original I think. Didn't take as long either.
